I got an open rhinoplasty nearly 2 years ago and I have this redness that does not go away on the tip of my nose. My doctor says he has not seen it before and he gave me some steroids to take, and I went to an EMT and they presciped me more stuff, still to no avail. I have a derm appt next week and am hoping that will yield some answers. I’m wondering if it’s it’s inflammatory rosacea (only appeared post op)or nerosis. It also appears more swollen and is sometimes painful, esp after smoking.
