Nipple surgery to smooth out nipples? (photo)

Is there any surgery available to smooth out my nipples? When they get the slightest bit cold they get bumpy and shriveled. I don’t even want my husband to see them.

From your photograph, it appears the areola is bigger than the hole made for the areola and that is why it is larger. The areola can simply be reduced under local anesthesia and takes about 15 minutes. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Your nipples can be repositioned to lower the higher one and elevate the lower one. This would involve eccentric circles to make the areolas smaller and can result in a starburst pattern around them. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

These lumps are part of normal anatomy of the nipples. Although they do slightly increase the size of your nipple they are not completely responsible for large nipples. Nipple reduction would be a good procedure for you. I would not recommend removing individual glands. Good luck.
