What do you think the mark is on my top lip and how can I make it go away? (Photos)

Mark on lip from lip filler. I’ve had this mark on my lip for quite awhile now. I’ve had lip filler done three times. After the second procedure, I started noticing it. The injector said it’s a ruptured blood vessel and will go on its own once the filler starts dissolving. It hasn’t started going away though. What do you think the mark is and how can I make it go away? By using laser?

I suggest waiting until you complete your antibiotics and when your bacterial infection is gone to prevent any kind of complications with the filler. However, there is no association with antibiotics and having the filler degraded by your body faster than usual. Always consult with a board...

Hi @Straightforward571500! Thank you for sending your photos. I would recommend dissolving your lips and starting with a fresh canvas. A lip flip will not add volume. Thus, I recommenced 1 syringe of Restylane Kysse. Best Wishes, Dr. Nima!
