Looking for top surgeons who specialize in ptosis repair?

I am from Minnesota, having a hard time deciding on a surgeon. I am willing to travel anywhere within the US. I understand this procedure has a high revision rate and I am just looking for the most experienced surgeons, I understand nothing is guarenteed but just trying to lower my chances of needing a revision. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. You have normal eyelid/ eyebrow asymmetry and should not have any treatments performed. There is nothing unattractive about your eyes. Good luck,

Eyelid ptosis surgery can be tough, especially repeat ptosis surgery. However, there is a special procedure I use for revision eyelid ptosis surgery that has high success rate. See following link.

Ptosis and Convergence Insufficiency, which one may develop from the other?

It is unlikely that one is related to the other. The eyelid muscle is innervated by the upper division of the third cranial nerve. Congenital ptosis is related to embryological malformation of the levator muscle. The etiology of convergence insufficiency is unknown.

Thank you for sharing your question and photo. When performed by an experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon, ptosis repair is usually quite easy and quick for the patient. Daily use of certain eyedrops can raise the eyelids, but your intraocular pressure needs to be monitored. Good luck,

Diagnosed with bellspalsy 11 years ago, now I have sykinisis. My eye closes when I smile. Will ptosis surgery help?

Need photos and examination to tell you accurately but probably would benefit from Botox injection and/or ptosis surgery. See an oculoplastic specialist fr evaluation.
