Do other parts of your body gain more fat if you gain weight after breast reduction surgery?

My sister had breast reduction surgery about 2 years ago. Since then, she has put on about 25 pounds. While her breasts have only gotten a little bigger, the majority of the weight seems to be in her stomach, buttocks, back and face. Is this due to the decreased amount of fat cells in her breasts now? Thank You.

Every woman is different. Even without a breast reduction some women gain or lose weight in their breast. While some others have no change in their breast size with weight gain or loss. Weight is gained or lost due to the increase or decrease in size of the fat cells. A breast reduction surgery has nothing to do with gaining weight and more areas due to the decrease number of fat cells.
