Do other parts of your body gain more fat if you gain weight after breast reduction surgery?

My sister had breast reduction surgery about 2 years ago. Since then, she has put on about 25 pounds. While her breasts have only gotten a little bigger, the majority of the weight seems to be in her stomach, buttocks, back and face. Is this due to the decreased amount of fat cells in her breasts now? Thank You.

Thank you for your question.  Piercing your nipples at this point should be fine, but it will most likely not have any effect on your nipples' sensitivity.  Please run this by your operating surgeon before proceeding though.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

Thank you for your picture.  I would wait 3 months to allow the swelling to resolve then re-evaluate the position of the nipples.  After 3 months, if the nipples are too high a revision can be planned.
