As a child I had braces to correct my open bite, but before, my teeth covered my entire smile with minimal dark corners. Now I am 24 and my face has grown vertically and my teeth seem to have been pushed inward. There are large dark corners and gum when I smile. Oddly my upper gum bone sticks out further than my teeth on the sides suggesting that my teeth were once placed in a forward position. My lower jaw is too far back, but I don’t know if that can be brought forward without surgery.
