How long does it take new scalp hair shaft to thicken up?

When a new hair "sprouts" out and is like 0.5-5mm or so in length it is still thin. How long (generally) does it take for these new emerging hairs to reach their "mature" (for lack of a better word) thickness?

Binge drinking is bad for you body.  You can infer that it would also be bad for your newly transplanted grafts.  However there are no studies that can prove this.Results take 6 to 12 months to appreciate.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Actually I do not recommend smoking anytime because it prevent hairs to get enough oxygen. But especially you should not smoke any tobacco products before 3rd month.

It is not clear if you lost any grafts based on photos alone.  In general, when the grafts do fall out there may be some bleeding.
