Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. Unfortunately, there is a good chance that it WILL grow bigger. This is due to the same reason why keloids are formed in the first place. If you're prone to keloids, when the skin is injured, in the process of healing itself, the skin overcompensates for the injury by producing too much collagen. The result is the raised scar known as a keloid. Since you do already have a keloid scar, it means you're prone to developing them. The new injury will likely trigger more collagen production and, consequently, keloid growth in size.
