I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon next month to discuss how I can make my eyes more symmetrical without having orbital decompression surgery done to my left “bulging” eye. I am seeking a brow lift for my right brow and fat grafting right below my left brow to even out the eyelids. My question is, would a tarsorrhaphy done to my left eye be helpful or would it make the asymmetry worse?

I do NOT recommend tarsorrhaphy for cosmetic reasons as it can be disfiguring. There are other procedures that can help. See an expert.

Your eyes are not that prominent. You do have a significant abnormality of the tendon that lifts the upper eyelids. This is caused by a slippage of the how these tendons insert into the upper eyelids. The right side is more dramatic than the left side ( in reference you anatomic right and left). Your also have inferior scleral show. I do not believe that either an orbital decompression or a tarsorrhaphy. The specialist you need to see in an oculoplastic surgeon. There is no substitute from a detailed personal assessment.
