Can chin fillers make your chin wider or do they only increase the side projection?

Question

I am interested in trying chin fillers. My chin is only slightly recessed, not by much. I could tell by looking at other results I wouldn't need more than one syringe. However, I was just wondering if chin fillers can make your chin wider as well as project it more, or does it only bring your chin forward? Thanks.

We, or at least I am, doing many less chin implants these days because the fillers are just that versatile. We are able to lengthen, widen and even sharpen the chin and jawline. The key is using the correct filler in the correct tissue plane. That is where the results are at.
Find a surgeon/injector you trust and be clear with your goals.

Injectable fillers can be used to widen the chin as well as enhance the projection.  The amount needed will vary by individual.

Chin filler can be added in 3 different dimensions. Filler can make the chin project more, make it wider, and it can also make it longer. In females, chin filler can make the chin more pointed, a desirable trait in most cases.

Filler can be used to make the chin wider without increasing the projection. Precise treatment is needed. The best fillers for this would be Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Volume, or Radiesse. Good luck!
