Long thin face. Do I need chin fillers? (Photo)

I have long and thin face. My doc told me to do chin fillers in order to have a more balanced face. At first I was afraid that a chin filler may make my face even more long and chin more pointy. So what should I do?

Fillers could be used along your lower face to make your face more oval.  This should make your face appear less long and thin.  Just based on your photo, it doesn't appear to me that you need any filler to your chin but more to the areas on the sides of your lower face.

Facial sculpting and contouring of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Contour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Based on the picture, I see that you have a defined chin. When I evaluate clients for a chin augmenting, I typically look at their profile also. Your face does appear long, I would add some filler to the back of your jaw area to give it more definition and maybe a little to your cheekbone area. Good luck and thank you.
