Why does my chin stick out so much when I smile with teeth? (Photos)

I love my chin when I don’t smile, both size and length, but it juts out so much when I smile! Why? What do I do?

Thank you for all the photos. Some patients are born with a more prominent chin which looks even more accentuated when you smile. In females, it is considered more feminine to have a slightly recessive chin and convex profile. In the profile view I can see that you have a deep mentolabial fold and a straight profile. I think that your profile and frontal views would improve with a chin reduction surgery by chin shaving or reduction genioplasty. An office consultation or video conference would be helpful.

If that doesn’t do the trick and you still don’t like how it juts out when you smile, you may consult doctors fir a chin reduction.
