Hi and thank you for your question! There is generally no restriction on use of foundation and make up after filler injection or scar subcision as long as the skin surface is intact. I hope it helps and good luck!
I is most safe to wait until the next morning prior to placement of makeup after Bellafill injections, particularly if cannulas were used. The reason is that there are small holes in the skin which the makeup can travel down and become infected. It is very unlikely that this occurs but with a permanent filler, it's best to play it conservative.
Usually there's no restriction on applying foundation or make up after any filler injection or subcision for acne scar, but needle injections leave multiple punctured skin and may increase the chance of skin contamination. Unless you have to wear the make up for absolute reason on procedure day, it may not be a bad idea to wait till next morning.
You can applied makeup immediately after Bellafill. There is no reason to wait.I hope that helps.Best regards.
It really depends on the degree of correction needed. I can't guide you without pictures. I will place Bellafill in this area using cannulas for increased safety and less downtime. If after 4 months, you feel you need more, another syringe or 2 can be added.
