Why has my BBL disappeared after 2 years?

Question

2 years ago I got a BBL. About 6 months ago I started feeling some discomfort in the areas the fat was transferred to. seems like I woke up and half the results had disappeared. Now I'm having the same discomfort. It will all be gone and for nothing. I haven't read or heard anything like this. Why is it happening?

Hello, thank you for the question.  It's not normal that after 2 years you experience loss of volume except if you have lost a good certain among of weight.  Once the fat has survived it will behave as usual, if you gain weight fat cells will become larger and if you lose weight will happen the opposite.

The volume depends on how much fat was transfered but you need to take in consideration that after 2-3 years the results won't be exactly the same, swelling won't be going on and many other factors that won't be happening. Discomfort after a BBL can be a sign of infection and/or fat necrosis. Fat necrosis can be absorbed by your body over time or it can turn hard and feel like scar tissue. You can also lose volume over time if you lose weight.
