You have done the right thing. Wash the area gently to remove the product. Hydrocortisone cream can be used to cool the rash, aquaphor can also be used to facilitate healing. Go see your doctor for evaluation. It is rare to have a reaction to biocorneum, but everyone is different. BestMatthew Camp

It is possible that you are seeing an allergic reaction to the scar cream. You should stop using it if you think it’s causing the irritation and rash you’re experiencing.
