Did 30% TCA peel on neck 6 days ago and now after peeling, my complete neck is hyper pigmented. Any suggestions? (photo)

Question

I am a 30 yrs old indian male with brown skin, After the 30% tca peel, my neck is even darker. Is this normal? does the skin will correct in a few days? Am I over-reacting, should I wait for a few more days to see? if not what are my options? Will laser help after scrapping the top layer of neck's skin? I did this peel this to get rid of hyperpigmentation caused by 4% hydroquinone so bleaching agent is not an option to fix this. Please advise and help. will the pink spots go away? Thanks

I suggest seeing a board certified expert.  This needs proper skin care at this time to prevent hypo or hyperpigmentation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Wow.. that is pretty brave ... type 5 skin with 30% TCA on extra facial areas. Not many Board Certified Specialist would do that. Not for me to comment, just for me to advice -1. Will correct in a few months - up to 9 months2. No one will treat you with laser this early. Perhaps 2-3 months down the line with QSL. 3. Prevent infection- see a doctor4. Prevent PIH or skin darkening - SPF+++5. Give it time. 6.
