I'm a 32 year old woman who had some pretty rough things happen to my face and now I'm left with this. It's honestly a daily struggle. Large pores, fine lines, thin skin, scars and more. Am I too young for a face-lift? Are there any other procedures that might help at all? Pictures are with make up on which just enhances everything worse.
Answer: Facelift is not the answer If you’re looking for thin scar, tone and texture treatment rather than treatment of larger amounts of excess like jowls, facelift is not the answer. There are a variety of non surgical options for treatment of tone and texture and that would be your best option.

Answer: A Facelift Procedure is Premature. A facelift procedure is premature. There are plenty of non-invasive procedures that can reduce the weathered appearance of your face. At your age, you should not have course skin, jowling, or neck skin laxity, which are all signs of the need for a facelift. At this time, I would recommend good skin care and non-invasive or minorly invasive procedures, such as microneedling (with or without PRP), fractional laser, laser resurfacing, and neurotoxin (Botox) and fillers. In addition, avoiding sun exposure and smoking will also help.

Answer: Alternatives to a facelift: What are your options/? Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, it appears your primary concern is the condition of your skin and not loose skin that one would typically see with facelift candidates. In your case, I would focus on skin rejuvenation procedures like RF microneedling, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can perform a comprehensive examination of your skin and create a treatment plan tailored to your precise needs and goals.

Answer: Facelift Hello and thank you for the question. You do not need a facelift, but you should have a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss other - much less invasive - treatment options. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Fellowship-trained plastic surgeons.

Answer: Try all conservative measures first. I believe that you are too young for a facelift at the age of 32. A facelift deals with excess tissue but does not deal with the quality of your skin. I would recommend seeing a dermatologist who can address how best to improve the quality of your skin. This, coupled with good hydration, excellent diet and sun protection should give you maximum improvement for your skin. Best wishes.

Answer: What to do? Am I too young for a facelift at 32 Hello, you do not need a facelift. You can definitely reduce your life size by some primary treatments, and then home maintenance with a skin regime. First I recommend three treatments 6 weeks apart with RF Microneedling. These three treatments should be combined with an immediate sensi PCA chemical peel after the first, a PRP masque after the second, then another chemical peel with ultra PCA peel after the third. Home maintenance should follow with daily use of a serum and a moisturizer at a bare minimum. Facial scrubs with periodic retinol at night will complement your skin. You also can do mdintensnce RF Microneedling once per year as needed.
