How often do you need to have Botox done for around the mouth and same for Restylane and what is the cost around about?

Most people will need to have Botox treatments every 4 months for the full effect to be present.  None of the other neuromodulators such as Xeomin, or Dysport have proven to have any properties that set them apart from Botox in terms of effect or longevity.  Botox is injected in most offices by units.  Each unit of Botox has a certain price and it will vary depending upon where you live and the experience of the injector. I know few practices that still inject Botox by area.  Dermal fillers around the mouth can last up to 9 months, but injections into the lips usually last only around 6 months due to the constant motion of the lips which expedites the degredation of the filler.  Prices for filler will also vary. I suggest seeing an experienced injector. 

Botox treatments are scheduled every four months or so, while Restylane and other fillers can be scheduled every 6-12 months or so. Pricing depends on the number of units administered for Botox, and the number of syringes for Restylane. 

Botox and other similar products typically last between 3-6 months, while fillers like Restylane and Juvederm last 6-12 months. However in more mobile areas, it's closer to 3 and 6 months, respectively. Costs will vary, and will depend on the amount used. Botox will be at least 4-500, while fillers will probably start at 500.  Hope that helps!
