I read that masturbation releases more DHT. Does it mean it causes hair loss?

I saw a research link which was stated in one of the balding blogs, the link is this https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/135817, it says that masturbation leads to increased hormones that is more dht, which inturn cause hair loss? Its also clear that genetic predisposition is very important, but it still is masturbation should at least lead to lose more hair for those who have genetic predisposition ryt? I have a pattern hair loss and really confused whether to masturbate or not. Plz help

Neither sex nor masturbation causes balding. Men's testicles make testosterone and this is metabolized into DHT, a male hormone 40 times as powerful as testosterone. When a person has genes for balding, the hormone DHT works with the gene to cause balding. The body makes an enzyme that allows for the manufacture of DHT and this enzyme can be blocked with the drug finasteride to often stop and possibly slow down the balding process because this DHT hormone production drops.
