This is because the face in its entirety, with all of its elements, needs to harmonize and to be enhanced by rhinoplasty surgery. A rhinoplasty can reduce the size of a nose – but one would not want to make it disproportionately small. This is why I always evaluate the entire face and its features to help patients look their most elegant, natural best. Cheekbone width, the sharpness or softness of the angle of the jawline, the forehead height, eye positioning, face shape – all must be evaluated to create a result that establishes the aesthetic congruity of your face. One nose does not fit all! In your case, you could achieve the result you’re seeking if your plastic surgeon has a sophisticated eye. I recommend looking at many before-and-after photos. Are the results dissimilar from face to face? Do they look natural? Do your research, and don’t be afraid to ask questions during your consultation.
