Is liposuction an option? Don't want tummy tuck

Question

Hi My weight is 147. Would like to get only liposuction of entire back, abdomen and flanks to look less like a linebacker...lol. Had a c-section over 25 years ago and recovered well. Even after kids, didn't start gaining excess weight until age 40. Now can seem to get rid of it. Don't want a tummy tuck. Can I still have great results with liposuction only? Dear 100pcntwoman,
based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Liposuction will transform your back and flank rolls and those areas would look great. Liposuction alone of your abdomen will improve it but you will still have the some loose skin and a bit of a prominence due to your diastasis rectus. You asked if your results would be great with lipo only. I think they would be good with lipo only but great if you add a tummy tuck. Good luck.

Laser liposuction is good for problem areas of fat, but lacks body shaping. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. For a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), we inject the fat into the buttock for contouring and lifting, but fat can also be used in areas such as the chest/breast, arms/shoulders, calves and face. Cellulite should also be treated with a combination of Cellfina or QWO, subcision, and/or fillers such as Bellafill, Renuva synthetic fat, or Sculptra. If skin is very loose before surgery, then it will need to be removed: tummy tuck/abdominoplasty for lower abdominal skin; breast lift for excess breast skin; and/or a brachioplasty for loose arm skin.

"Don't want a tummy tuck. Can I still have great results with liposuction only?" is written. You can have lipo 360 up to 4 liters (8.8 pounds) fat removal, but the excess skin of the inferior abdomen will most likely not improve. Expect after few months of healing to need a full TT. But you can do lipo first t see if you are happy with the results. Expect fees for lipo $5,000-$10,000.
