Nevi removal on eyelid - will eyelashes grow back?

It's truly impossible to tell without at least an in person exam, but assuming that the follicles aren't damaged then yes, latisse will help. Just remember that each individual lash follows a different cycle so it may take a few more weeks to see any results. Hope this helps -- Dr. Nazarian

Without seeing the exact location of the nevus and the amount and depth of the cauterized area, it is difficult to know.  If the follicles were not destroyed, the lashes should grow back.  The lashes have a growth cycle, anagen, catagen and telogen.  All hair undergoes these phases, but they differ in how long the phases take. Anagen is the growth phase.  How long this phase lasts is determined genetically, varies between the sexes and from one person to another. The length of the growth phase and the width of the hair shaft are the result of your genes, therefore, may not be affected by anything you do to your skin or to the hair shaft itself.  Using Latisse may not help, but will probably not harm the growth cycle.  I hope this helps.  Good luck to you.
