My chest has absolutely no upper Fullness - Am I tuberous? (photos)

I am looking to get a breast lift and implant. I lost a significant amount of weight my puberty years (a size 16 to a size 2 in the span of a year) and felt my breasts were drastically effected. I fluctuated weight well into my mid 20s, up to a size 8 my breasts were much fuller but now that I’ve been a steady size 4 for the past 5 years my chest has absolutely no upper Fullness. Curious if I am considered tuberous?

Hello @Hannahbialowas thank you for your question and showing your pictures. In some cases, tuberous breasts may present extremes or mild cases of constricted breast tissue. Instead of having a round dome shape, the breasts are shaped like ice cream swirls with narrower shapes. Variable circumferential constriction of soft tissue fibers. It is important to make a surgical plan that takes into account all the aspects to be improved in order to achieve the best result. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements and they choose what looks right for them. tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall.The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition.My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries.That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Your breasts are not tuberous but quite ptotic and widely separated. You will need a lift and the technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

No, you do not have tuberous, shaped like tubers, breasts, but do have sagging which would be improved with a lift. If you would like to be fuller, add implants.

Cosmetic breast surgery can reduce sagging and raise the position of the nipples and the dark area around the nipples (areolas). The size of the areolas can also be reduced during the procedure to maintain proportion with the newly reconstructed breasts.
"Weight Variations". Changes in your weight can cause the skin on your breasts to stretch and lose elasticity. You can have a mammoplasty if you have sagging breasts or if your nipples point down. A breast lift could also improve your self-image and self-confidence.
