This is always helpful information if you can get it but most experienced plastic surgeons have other techniques including measurements and 3-D imaging to help gauge the size of the implants you have. In the case of implant removal alone, the details make little difference.  If you are considering a lift of the remaining breast tissue after removal or you want to put smaller implants back in, thisbinformation is helpful.
