hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question its recommended wait 3 month counting day after surgery.
I think anytime after 6 weeks it would be safe to get in the pool. Getting on a wetsuit isn't the easiest thing, but by the 6-8 week mark your swelling should be decreased enough to squeeze into a wetsuit.
I would suggest waiting at least 3 months before diving and similar aquatic activities of longer duration. Consultation with your surgeon is best way to find out about your postoperative recovery regiment. Good luck.
I would not allow a patient to be submerged in water until I was absolutely positive that the incision was healed. This will take from 6 weeks to 3 months. The last thing you want is an infection following this procedure. However, the best answer will come from the PS who performs your BBL.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question. The best person to advice you will be your specific surgeon as every surgeon will have his/her own preferences as to recovery for specific procedures. I would suggest to wait around 6 weeks in order to let incisions heal completely to avoid an infection.

You should wait at least 2 weeks before sitting without a support cushion and sleeping on your back. Sitting with no support too soon can harm the newly moved fat cells.
