At 22, I had a nose job and neck liposuction in May 2016. Its been 9 months since surgery and I haven't seen any results in my neck. The skin it not tighter, and feels very loose. I really want a tight neck and more defined jaw, but I do not what a chin implant. My plastic surgeon said I am too young for a neck lift. Im 23 and really want my turkey neck gone, please help!
Answer: Anterior neck lift It is obvious that your problem is in deeper structures. Fat compartment underneath platisma muscle and possibly bulky digastric muscles may need to be addressed? In person clinical evaluation is needed to give you more accurate plant of treatment. You should seek a consultation with a plastic surgeon with very good reputation in facial rejuvenation since this type of deformity requires above the average expertise. Good luck.

CONTACT NOW Answer: What Are Your Best Options It's best to begin by consulting with a surgeon in-person to discuss your options. During your initial examination, your #chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results. Liposuction under the chin is also another option your doctor can discuss. If you are not a candidate for chin or neck rejuvenation at the time of your #consultation, your board certified plastic surgeon can recommend alternatives to address your concern. However, there may be additional options to improve the appearance of your concern to improve the overall balance of your face. Such can be best evaluated in-person. Consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in #face, #neck and #chin procedures is important to ensure you are receiving the best advice, care, and surgical experience possible.

Answer: How can I get rid of my double chin, and tighten my neck skin? What would be my best options? A neck lift procedure can accomplish removal of the residual fatty deposits above the platysma muscle, and surgical removal of the fatty deposits underneath the platysma muscle. A platysma plasty is also required. No skin removal is required. A chin implant is not required. The skin does not need to be tightened at age 22, just fat removal and a platysma tightening which creates a very defined jawline. For more information and many before and after examples, please see the link and the video below

Answer: How can I get a rid of my double chin, Its not so easy. Since the neck lipo didn't help, the problem is not subQ fat. Your chin is in great position. The problem is subplatysmal fat, the digastric muscles and the submandibular glands. Very few plastic surgeons do this procedure , but you will not get the flat anterior neck you want without doing this.

Answer: How can I get a rid of my double chin, and tighten my neck skin? What would be my best options? Hi, I have performed many Chin Augmentations using silastic chin implants for over 30 years. From the photos your chi is quite weak and there is excess skin in the neck below the chin. While liposuction can reduce excess fat, it will add projection to the chin like a chin implant nor will it reduce excess skin. When the chin is weak, this creates an imbalance making: the nose look larger, the mid face top heavy, the lower face appears short, lip fullness is de-emphasized which early formation of a "double chin" occurs. Chin augmentation using a silastic chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I place silastic chin implants, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) in 30 minutes or less, often using a local anesthetic alone. In my opinion, you are a good candidate for chin implant surgery and removal of skin below the chin. Hope this helps.
