I always felt it was too big, but as I’ve aged, it has become asymmetrical. The surgery resulted in a scar inside my mouth and on my chin. I have also had a bit of liposuction under my chin. Would I be a candidate for removal and replacement with fillers or fat graph?

Answer: Chin implant dstumbleston, chin implant can be removed but some are easier than others. Should your implant be made of gortex or some other bio-integration material removal can be a chore. Replacing it with filler and /or fat is not a good idea. Make sure you see an experienced plastic surgeon that specializes in only faces.See the video and good luck!

Answer: Chin Implant Removal? Yes Yes, improved facial balance in the frontal view and profile can be achieved by removal of your current implant. You may need to consider an implant exchange for a nicer, smaller implant. This may need to be a part of an overall assessment for your face and neck, and surgical options in this regard. Scar revision and other options could be done as well. In my view, replacement of your old implant with fillers or fat grafts would not be your best choice. A skilled plastic surgeon, who specializes in facial rejuvenation, may be able to provide more detailed and specific options for your consideration. Overall, there is no need to keep this old chin implant if you are unhappy with it's effects on shape and size for your face. Best Wishes.
