Can I change the position of my eyes? (Photo)

Question

This sounds like a long shot to me, but I need to know whether or not I can fix this. For the past 2 years I've really started to notice that the position of my eyes is very asymmetric. They do not line up on my face at all. This along with other problems has caused me get distress in my life, I've been fighting social anxiety and depression, and I just want to move on and live my life. Please help me. It would be more helpful to see pictures without your glasses on or smiling and from different angle as well. It is hard to see based on this one picture as to whether your eye asymmetry is caused by a globe or lid position issue.

Thank you for your question. Asymmetry of the eyes is very common and usually is the result of asymmetry of the bony orbit which is not correctable. However there are other causes. I recommend that you have an in person consultation with an Occuloplastic Surgeon for a proper diagnosis.
