A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi there! Typically for radial cheek lines, we would use an injection called sculptra to stimulate collagen production in the area. Usually, cheek wrinkles are not deep enough for us to place filler in. Another alternative would be to place some smooth threads in the area. Hope this helps!
The wonderful thing about fillers is that you can go slowly and build up to the result you are wanting. You can start with one syringe per side and build from there. I encourage you to meet with an expert injector to discuss your goals for treatment.
Thank you for the question! It is frequently asked: how to fix accordion lines? I would recommend evaluating the whole face: address a medial cheek ( it started sagging down a little), lift the nasolabial fold by injecting the pyriform aperture, using high G prime fillers ( I like to use Restylane Lyft or Defyne). It will lift the area of concern and would require less volume to fix accordion lines using Volbella or Restylane Refyne. The alternative approach would be a fern technique ( using Restylane). The choice of dermal filler will depend on provider-injector choices, and quantity will depend on the client"s affordability: plan for 3 or 4 syringes. And most importantly: talk to your trusted provider, develop a plan to maintain your desired look, and get a second opinion. My motto is: two heads are better than one.
These aren’t really facial wrinkles but they are folds created by the muscles when you smile. The main reason as to why this occurs is because as a person ages, they lose significant amount of fat and muscle volume in the face as well as the body. By restoring facial volume with a use of your own fat through fat grafting, you will look considerably more youthful and these “wrinkles” should disappear. With fat grafting, when properly done you will look like yourself but 15 to 20 years younger. The results should be permanent. 1 mL or two or even five cc’s of fillers will not create the improvements you’re looking for. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
Hi there and thank you for your question! typically we do not use filler for any horizontal forehead lines due to wrinkles not having enough depth to add volume back to the area. Adding filler to shallow line would make the area look lumpy and uneven, especially with thinner skin in the area....
This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
