White Nipples 2 Weeks Post Breast Augmentation? (photo)

Question

The tips of my nipples turn white sometimes, mostly my left. Just has a BA two weeks ago. They did this before the surgery, I breast fed... But it's much more noticeable now. I don't know if it's worse.. Or I just didn't notice as much before. Could implants have affected this? Have you seen this before? Should I be getting tested for cancer or something?

My guess is that this will continue to improve with time and return to close to where it was before surgery.  Your breast tissue is still tight and healing from surgery so its hard to tell now where things will be in a few months.  Ask your PS and ill bet their advice is similar.

Allow 3 months of healing before considering any treatment to the whiten areas of the tips of the nipples.//

No you should not be worried about cancer nor be tested for it based on this. The imlants will compress the adjacent tissues and cut down a bit on blood supply, hence the pale appearance in a nipple already had a tendency for occasional pallor.
