The surgeon added some graft to the right side of the nose to augment it as apparently during the surgery, he noticed that the right side was concave. However now, I think that the graft is making my nose crooked and slanting to the right and it also looks very bumpy. My nostrils seem very uneven as well. When I look up my right nostril, I can see what looks like cartilage sticking out right where the bump is. When I run my finger down the right side, I can feel the bump.

It take around 6 weeks for the nasal bones and cartilage to set after a rhinoplasty. At that time, the nose is fairly strong but direct trauma could affect the area. At 6 months after surgery, the nose is stable and there should be little concern about water skiing or wake boarding....
The flap of columellar skin was elevated and the skin posterior to the incision (closer to your lip) was not. Thus the former skin is swollen and the latter is not. Therefore there is a slight 'step' at the incision line and this is due to swelling. All incisions look their worst around 6 weeks...
