When can I do water activities after Rhinoplasty?

I had rhinoplasty in December and I am going to the lake in June. Is it okay to water ski and tube? The boat usually goes 20-25 mph when tubing. (tubing is when you're being pulled by the boat on a raft)

It take around 6 weeks for the nasal bones and cartilage to set after a rhinoplasty.  At that time, the nose is fairly strong but direct trauma could affect the area.  At 6 months after surgery, the nose is stable and there should be little concern about water skiing or wake boarding.  I hope this helps.

In most cases, a patient who has surgery in December should be capable of participating in water activities by June. However, you should consult with your surgeon as he or she knows the scope of the surgery and the specifics about you.

You should be just fine for water activities in June.  Since you had surgery in December, you have had plenty of time to recover.  Have a nice Summer.
