How long does a head ache last after a broken nose?

I broke my nose on March 14th, and I have had a horrible head ache that only goes away if I push downward on the skin on my forehead and then it feels like it relaxes it, other wise the head ache starts in between my eyes and goes up to the top of my head in a straight line. It is not a pounding head ache, just an irritating one that doesn't seem to want to go way. The head ache did not start until March 14th after my dog head butted me in my nose.

Thank you for the question. It is unlikely that your nose would look fat after applying spreader grafts. It can widen the middle area of the nose but that is what is trying to be accomplished. It can improve the airway but done correctly your shape should improve.

Hi,I know doctors disagree about this, but I'll give you my 2 cents. Don't massage the nose. The doctor put the cartilages and bones in a certain position, and you want them to stay where they were put. Don't push them around by massaging the nose. It won't do anything to decrease the swelling...

  Dear eks7,  You can drive 2-3 days after surgery if you are off pain medications, you can see clearly (no swelling around the eyes and if you wear glasses, they sit properly on your face), you can maneuver the car safely (upper body, breast surgery) and you are not sick or nauseated....
