Thank you for sharing your question. This order of treatment is fine and likely to give good results. Good luck,
It will most definitely not interfere with your botox treatment. The science behind the PRP treatments is basically unimpressive. I would recommend using the money for the PRP service for a light chemical peel which will be much more effective.
Yes, this timeline is fine. These treatments can even be performed on the same day. I find that a prp facial is great for rejuvenation but needs to be combined with lasers, fillers, or skin tightening to get the ultimate outcomes. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your question and as always, we recommend that you have a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to help with your skin care concerns. Having PRP after Botox is fine – I am not sure what you mean by a PRP facial – but having PRP put on your skin or injected into your skin should have no effect on your Botox. Just make sure that the provider is someone that understands what PRP is, what it can do, and that you are spending your $$ wisely.
There are no issues with receiving PRP treatments post Botox injections. Best of luck to you.
There will be no interference with the Botox but i dont know what you are expecting from the PRP as it is not well studied and the results are at best iffy
Botox will not interfere with PRP. One aside, is that if you are combining filler with PRP, I would recommend waiting until your Botox has taken full effect (10-12 days).
Getting a PRP facial (or any facial treatment) five days after Botox will not cause any problems.
The PRP will not interfere with the Botox. That being said, I am not a big believer in PRP as of yet because I don't think the science is there to support it. If you are looking for a good maintenance/preventative treatment, consider a gentle laser treatment like the Clear + Brilliant Permea.
There really shouldn't be a problem with this as Botox will have been taken up into the nerve endings well before then, so nothing should interfere with its action. You may even find the PRP will work better where you have had Botox as the skin will be relaxed in this area. You would need to inform your practitioner of what you've had done so that they are aware and in case they had a different view.Best wishes,
Thank you for sharing your question. It is unlikely that herbal teas caused the fillers to dissolve. See an experienced injector who can determine the most effective product to use for your problems.Good luck,
Botox combined with radiofrequency can slim the masseter and improve symmetry. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. To my knowledge there is no contraindication to drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages before or after Botox. The only restrictions I give my patients is to avoid aspirin and over the counter anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen to reduce the risk o...
Thank you for sharing your questions. BOTOX is a very safe treatment for wrinkles; however, the most important factor is choosing an experienced injector. Facial expression probably has no effect on the results; however, I would not wear a hat for a few hours. I hope this helps. Good luck,
Thank you for sharing your question. Typically, touch ups following well-performed Botox injections are not necessary, but can occasionally happen. Wait a few more days before judging the results. Visit your doctor for evaluation if you are still not satisfied.Good luck,
Thank you for your question. It is not common to experience a lump 16 days after a Botox cosmetic injection. Best to return to your injector for an evaluation. Good luck.
