I had CO2 laser resurfacing almost 3 months ago. It was pretty aggressive treatment. I have alot of broken capillaries on the side of each cheek and around my temples.. will this go away? I am very concerned..

A combination of yellow laser, pulsed dye or IPL can give improvement to broken capillaries. Lasers like Co2 work best in combination with other treatments in order to improve the skin's texture and collagen. After Co2, I recommend adding fraxel lasers, microneedling/prp and radiofrequency treatments.  I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care and treatment. Best, Dr. Emer

You may need to use an ND:YAG laser to remove these broken capillaries. Consult your surgeon who did the laser.

situation. Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing is an outstanding treatment that
can address multiple aspects of aging in a single treatment. The appearance of redness and broken capillaries can occur after a treatment. These can be treated with a number of vascular devices such as IPL, KTP laser, pulsed dye laser, and Nd:YAG laser. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
