Face abrasions from fall on pavement. When should I apply Biocorneum?

Do I have to wait until the wound (road rash) is completely healed (all scabs gone and abrated area completely covered with new skin) before applying. One area was fairly deep and although there is no longer any drainage and scabbing, the new skin hasn't completely formed over (a slight fissure).

Biocorneum is not a prescription medication.  Many dermatologists and PSs sell it through their offices. Be careful of what you buy online.

It truly depends on whether the scratch is on the inside of the lip or on the outside.  It is not intended for tissue inside your mouth. However, if it is on the outside then applying it twice daily would be safe.
