Face abrasions from fall on pavement. When should I apply Biocorneum?

Do I have to wait until the wound (road rash) is completely healed (all scabs gone and abrated area completely covered with new skin) before applying. One area was fairly deep and although there is no longer any drainage and scabbing, the new skin hasn't completely formed over (a slight fissure).

Thanks for your question. I recommend starting Biocorneum after the wound has re-epithelialized. This means once the scabs are gone and the area has a fresh pink color of new skin or granulation tissue. Treatment should be twice daily and continue for at least 2-3 months to reap the full benefit. I hope this helps.
