The day of surgery I was seen by my surgeon for the 1st time. Only then I was told that the roll is "thick skin" and she would try to remove as much of it as she could. I didn't have a chance to look at other options since it was day of surgery. Despite this I went through with it. Needless to say the rolls are smaller but still there. What can I do about this problem? Is there a surgery or something I can do to get rid of them? paid for lower back and feel it wasn't done. They consider it hip?
Answer: Flank lipo In our office, where you are pinching it would be considered flank liposuction. I would allow ample healing time and then consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Establish a good relationship with them and make sure you are on the same page with your treatment plan. A non surgical option could be cool sculpting, however max results are seen with surgery. Please feel free to take a look at our before and after gallery. Best of luck!

Answer: Depends on what your surgeon calls what area I am assuming that you had your procedure done at a large corp where you do a consult with the sales person. This is the one down side of not getting to speak to the doctor at the consult and preoperative visit. Having said that, every surgeon/office will name a certain area something different, in another words there is no universal language across each office. The areas that you are pinching in your picture would be called lovehandles/waist at my office and may have been called something else where you were treated. There are options to have more removed from those areas, but I would give it 6 months before seeking more treatment as the area is still healing and tissue is maturing. See a revision expert if you do decide to seek further treatment!

Answer: Laser Lipo Disappointment Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed in your results. It is unfortunate that you did not meet with your surgeon prior to your procedure day so that there was a more definitive agreement on what was being treated. I meet with all of my patients at the time of their initial consultation and define the areas while they are standing in front of a mirror to avoid this type of confusion. Your options are to go back to the surgeon who performed your surgery and express your disappointment or to seek out a new surgeon to achieve the results you were anticipating.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Liposuction terminology Different surgeons will use different nomenclature for the various areas of the body for liposuction. This is a prime example of why you need to develop a relationship with your surgeon before the day of surgery to make sure you are both on the same page. I typically see my patients at consultation, a pre-op appointment, and the day of surgery before anesthesia. This gives plenty of time to iron out the details. If your expectations were not met, follow-up with your surgeon to address your concerns. There are various options for revision including non-invasive treatments and additional surgery.
