The day of surgery I was seen by my surgeon for the 1st time. Only then I was told that the roll is "thick skin" and she would try to remove as much of it as she could. I didn't have a chance to look at other options since it was day of surgery. Despite this I went through with it. Needless to say the rolls are smaller but still there. What can I do about this problem? Is there a surgery or something I can do to get rid of them? paid for lower back and feel it wasn't done. They consider it hip?
Answer: Flank lipo In our office, where you are pinching it would be considered flank liposuction. I would allow ample healing time and then consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Establish a good relationship with them and make sure you are on the same page with your treatment plan. A non surgical option could be cool sculpting, however max results are seen with surgery. Please feel free to take a look at our before and after gallery. Best of luck!

Answer: Depends on what your surgeon calls what area I am assuming that you had your procedure done at a large corp where you do a consult with the sales person. This is the one down side of not getting to speak to the doctor at the consult and preoperative visit. Having said that, every surgeon/office will name a certain area something different, in another words there is no universal language across each office. The areas that you are pinching in your picture would be called lovehandles/waist at my office and may have been called something else where you were treated. There are options to have more removed from those areas, but I would give it 6 months before seeking more treatment as the area is still healing and tissue is maturing. See a revision expert if you do decide to seek further treatment!

Answer: Laser Lipo Disappointment Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed in your results. It is unfortunate that you did not meet with your surgeon prior to your procedure day so that there was a more definitive agreement on what was being treated. I meet with all of my patients at the time of their initial consultation and define the areas while they are standing in front of a mirror to avoid this type of confusion. Your options are to go back to the surgeon who performed your surgery and express your disappointment or to seek out a new surgeon to achieve the results you were anticipating.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Answer: Liposuction terminology Different surgeons will use different nomenclature for the various areas of the body for liposuction. This is a prime example of why you need to develop a relationship with your surgeon before the day of surgery to make sure you are both on the same page. I typically see my patients at consultation, a pre-op appointment, and the day of surgery before anesthesia. This gives plenty of time to iron out the details. If your expectations were not met, follow-up with your surgeon to address your concerns. There are various options for revision including non-invasive treatments and additional surgery.

Answer: A Pound of Flesh: What is best to improve its appearance? Good Day. Thank you for your question, narrative and photographs. The doctor-patient relationship is essential to identify the patients goals, determine if they are realistic, the technique to be used to attain these goals, ancillary procedures to both maximize outcome and lower complications, and to clarify the body areas to be addressed. This interaction may have been improved prior to surgery in your situation. Regarding the bodies anatomy, I do consider the flank and hips as synonymous. However, when you are being marked while standing prior to surgery infant of a mirror, you and the surgeon can confirm areas of fat removal and fat transfer or grafting. To attain optimal body contouring results, the surgeon should take the body as a whole and not segment it into areas. However, pricing does note each anatomic area.Optimizing the female body lines, curves, and balance necessitates addressing adjacent body areas. Rarely is the abdomen not combined with the lower back and flanks, feathering into the lateral chest area and upper back.Persistent areas of fullness after liposuction can be dealt with several ways:1. waiting 5-6 months for final liposuction result with full resolution of swelling and maximum skin tightening2. weight loss with good nutrition, consistent exercise and bioidentical hormone replacement 3. Noninvasive body contouring devices using ultrasound and radiofrequency (RF)4. and if necessary, liposuction revision surgery.Best of luck with your final body beautification.
