Will Laser Lipo work on slight jowls and moderate sagging skin on my neck?

 Although the heat from the laser may help contract your skin after liposuction, it may not be sufficient to give you the tightening you need. Without photos or an exam this question is impossible to answer.  Every patient is different.  However, slight jowls and a mild amount of loose skin of the neck can sometimes be tightened by laser lipo.  If your skin truly has moderate sagging, then you likely need a need lift.Best wishes

Laser lipo can help contour the jowls and the neck area. This procedure does tighten skin by stimulating collagen and elastin. It takes 6 months to see the final results. I keep my patients in a compression garment for 72 hours post op. After 72 hours the patient can take off the garment and then wear it for 3 weeks especially at night. Once the compression is off patients do see a visisble difference in contour, the results continue to improve over the next 6 months. Seek a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

The answer is possibly! Without pictures I can't give you a yes or no answer as every case is different.  It will depend on how much tightening is needed and your skin quality as well. Thank you for your question.Facial jowls is caused by sagging mid face tissues and constitutes some inelastic skin.  Less than optimal neck appearance is caused by excess fatty tissue and excess skin or aged skin with wrinkles.Skin tightening and fat removal can produce an excellent cosmetic result to the face and neck anatomical areas. A compression wrap for three days lowers the risk of fluid collection under the skin flap after the liposuction. One week use of an elastic wrap may also continue to improve the result.Laser liposuction causes 38% more skin tightening over standard suction assisted liposuction. Best of luck.
