The morning after CoolSculpting, I have experienced diarrhea and vomiting

Question

Yesterday I had the coolsculpting treatment done on 4 spots of the abdominal. Day 2 early in the morning I am experiencing many trips to the washroom with diahrrea and two times vomiting. Is this normal?

This is not known side effect of coolsculpting and it is most probably related to stomach bug to something else. I advise you to have yourself checked out by your family doctor and inform your provider as well. I hope all is good. Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear that you were feeling so poorly.  The symptoms you describe are not known to be side effects of CoolSculpting. Having treated thousands of CoolSculpting patients, we have never had even one who compained of these particular issues post treatment.  The common temporary side effects would be itching, soreness, numbness, swelling and sometimes bruising.  
It sounds more like you have a stomach flu. If your symptoms persist, I would make an appointment with your physician.  I hope you feel better soon.

Dear kirasakai,
Your symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea are not related to coolsculpting. Typical side effects include some abdominal soreness/discomfort and numbness in the area treated. You probably developed an unrelated viral gastroenteritis. If your symptoms continue, I would urge you to go get medical treatment immediately as you may get dehydrated from volume loss. Good luck.

Dear kirasakai:Your symptoms are not typical and I would posit are due to one of two things: either you are having a completely unrelated gastrointestinal illness, such a a viral or food-bourne gastroenteritis or even a medication side effect, or you had an unrecognized umbilical hernia and your gut was pulled upward by the vacuum and is traumatized. In either case, you should recover, but please be checked out by a physician today.

Obviously this is not normal. It probably is unrelated to the procedure but I would at least run this by the physician at the facility you were treated. I haven't heard of any incidences of intra-abdominal injury but it is possible with an umbilical  hernia that is not noticed.
