Are B-lite implants available in Canada or the U.S.? (photos)

Question

I am thinking about getting breast augmentation and I found B-lite implant website and because very excited at the ideal of having a much lighter implant. Are these available in Canada or the U.S.? And if so, how do they compare with silicone as far as insertion, patient experience, etc?

Thank you for your question.  B-Lite implants are not available in the US or Canada.  I have used these in London UK for the past 2 years.  You are right that the main attraction is the lighter weight - all of my patients choose B-Lite implants for this reason.  They are 30% lighter compared to standard silicone implants.  The technology is state of the art and the most significant advance in breast implants for 30 years.  There is no difference in the surgery with B-Lite implants although our patients report that the recover is easier, more comfortable compared to traditional silicone implants. As far as I know, these devices are not FDA approved and are not available in the USA. The weight of the implant is directly proportionate to the implant size. When you get close to wanting a BA, discuss options with your PS. Good luck and be well.

B-lite implants are not available in the US or Canada at moment. I like them because of the decrease in weight. I insert them in my satellite offices in Europe or Anguilla. Patients that have had them are happy with the feel, weight.
