I am 16 days post-op after a reduction. My PS removed my steri-strips today and instructed me to leave the incisions un-taped from now on. I am curious- how long do you instruct your patients to keep replacing their steri- strips or tape on the incisions? At what stage in the recovery do your patients begin being tape-free?

It's hard to say what's going on without photos and more information. Although burning sensations are common after surgery, it is important that you contact your surgeon to inform him or her of any changes to your condition. Good luck.

Thanks for the question. After 4-6 weeks your operation area is totally healed and yes you can do exercising and also do other sport activities. I wish you all the best.
