Can implants effect breathing during exercise? I had 550cc silicone implants 9 years ago.

Hi, I had 550cc silicone implants 9 years ago, over the muscle and went from an A to an F cup.  I regularly exercise and have always found such shortness in breath ... it scares me sometimes. I find it so difficult to breath and get my breath back and was wondering if perhaps the weight of the implants are affecting my lung capacity. Is this a thing? Or am I just actually stupidly unfit...though I dont class myself as being so?

Hello, as implants soften over time the will often look a little closer together and more mobile.  It is important to know that your surgeon has to place the implants where the breast are so they are properly covered, so if there was a wide gap before surgery it could remain after.

At 1 year post op, you should be fully healed from your procedure and clear to resume any chest exercises. The sensation you are describing sounds normal, your implants will move slightly as you exercise. Your body simply needs to adjust to you doing more strenuous movements with your implants....
