I have vertical wrinkles after neck lift. Will these issues resolve? (Photo)

Question

I am four weeks after a neck lift, with sutures under the chin and in front and behind the ears. While I am happy with the sharpened jawline, I have some concerns. now that the swelling is resolving there are some crepey vertical wrinkles developing on my neck. There are also ridges on my neck where the drains had been. Will these issues resolve?

"Injecting soft fillers like Belotero in this area can reduce lines, wrinkles and folds as well as improve skin texture with long-term collagen production. Fillers are being used more frequently to contour and lift rather than solely line fill. Of course, fillers are best used in combination with lasers and microneedling​ with PRP to get the optimal outcome.

The ridges where the drains had been will resolve with time as the swelling subsides. The vertical wrinkles on your neck, however, will not resolve. These lines in the mid and lower neck are a result of sun damage and aging of the skin. The neck lift addressed some of the laxity of the skin by tightening the underlying muscle. Additional skin treatments to the surface of the neck will be needed to improve these lines. Usually, a combination of treatments are needed including skin creams (topical Retin-A, vitamin C), fractional ablative and non-ablative lasers, and peels.
