I recently had an outstanding platysmaplasty, incision under chin, corset and redrape of skin only. Amazing outcome. (I will wait 6 weeks until gradually starting to lift weights again.) Post procedure my PS mentioned the muscle had damage... do you think this was due to prior being over weight or aggressive weight lifting or something else? Will hard core weight lifting will naturally accelerate the platysmal banding, protrusion and skin laxity again versus not lifting. I hate to give up the gym.
