How long to see full results from Infini RF? Treatment Spacing?

Infini treatments affect the dermis at various levels. By creating these thermal zones of injury, new collagen will form. This usually takes 6 weeks but continued improvement can occur over 6 months. The treatments can be performed every 4 weeks for 3 treatments. Skin turnover is taking place above the deeper layers of skin. A good question and I hope this was helpful.

I find that every 4-6 weeks for nonablative laser or RF is okay if you have acne scarring.  The treatments build upon each other.  In between microneedling/PRP, subcision and filler really help.  Best, Dr. Emer.

The results can be seen immediately after the completion of the
treatment. However, the rebuilding of collagen in your body can take
weeks to months. For optimal results, it can take 2 to 3 treatments and
full results can take anywhere from 4 to 6 months once the new collagen
growth is complete. Results will vary per individual. The results will
not resemble the results of undergoing a facial procedure such as a facelift, necklift, or eyelid surgery.

Depending on the degree of scarring and your skin type the average patient would need 2-3 treatments spaced 3 months apart.  Your skin continues to resurface and produce new collagen in the deeper layers of your skin 2-3 months after treatment, meaning it will look much better at the end of month 2 and 3 than it will after the first month. This can also determine the need for more or less treatments. Majority of patient will see marked improvement after 3 treatments. If there are larger deeper scars the infini was not able to resurface completely, these can be touched up with Bellafill a permanent filler indicated for acne scars. 

I too would love to see some pictures to give you optimal advice.  If the acne scars are atrophic and small, thus giving you a textural change to the skin, I would be recommending Infini Treatments spaced 2-3 months apart.  You really need this amount of time to see the full response to each treatment.  If there are larger, more rolling acne scars, we often will switch our final treatments to focus on these using Bellafill which is now FDA approved for rolling depressed acne scars.  

Without a picture I can't advice you properly. An atrophic scar might benefit from filling using Bellafill. Most of the results from a treatment in my opinion are seen in about 6-8 weeks. The delay in results is related to the development of collagen and has nothing to do with skin turn over rate. It is fairly standard to do monthly treatments. Make sure if only treating a small area that the provider does not overheat the area (bulk heating) and gives time between passes.
