I'm 5'2 138 lb. and apple shaped. I'm 29 and below average on the fitness spectrum. I don't have much muscle (or fat) in my buttocks, should I work out before BBL? Thank you!

Answer: Exercise before BBL You can work out if you choose to before having any type of surgery. If you do not normally exercise, it's not crucial to begin exercising before surgery. Squats may be able to further augment your gluteal muscles which will enhance your outcome. Consult with a plastic surgeon to see if you are a good candidate for surgery.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno

Answer: BBL or butt implant If you don't have much fat, you may want to consider a combination fat and implant transfer. We place the implant centrally for fullness and the fat laterally for lateral fullness. A consultation is necessary to add up all of your fat donor sites so that we can figure out if you can get away from a BBL only or if you may need an implant to get to the results you desire.
