The price is entirely practice dependent. If it was planned to be staged than the cost may be included. If its a revision, typically surgeons only ask the patient to pay for the surgery center and anesthesia.I hope this was helpful,Dr. Daniel BarrettBeverly Hills, CA
I perform more BBL revisions than people would believe. These surgeries are always more difficult given the scar present from the previous surgery or surgeries. These should cost more, but all of the patients for whom I have performed revisions have had monumental improvements.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Financial policies vary from practice to practice. It is also a matter of why the revision is necessary. In most cases, the costs are much less than the original as the scope of the surgery is less. To ensure that you are receiving quality work at the most cost effectiveprices, consult with board certified plastic surgeons that own their ownnationally accredited facilities. The quality must be maintained at the highestlevel to maintain accreditation. The surgeons also have incentive to hire andtrain quality staff (to ensure that surgery is efficient and enjoyable), toensure comfortable and private facilities (to encourage referral), and toeliminate waste (to ensure that these facilities can compete effectively).
Some patients require a staged BBL to achieve the desired result, particularly when they need larger augmentation and/or their excess fat is not enough. Oftentimes, the secondary procedure takes several months after the initial surgery to help the patient gain a little bit of weight. However, there are also some patients who only require one treatment because their fat reserve is sufficient to provide the desired results. Simply put, only a personal consultation to a board-certified plastic surgeon can answer you. Take note that you should choose a board-certified PS based on his skills and qualifications, rather than his discount procedure alone. Best wishes.
I do many Brazilian Butt Lifts or BBL (fat grafting of the buttocks). It is very rare to have a complication. The most important thing to know is that some of the fat will resorb over the first 6-12 months. Experience and proper technique will minimize this but it will happen to a certain extent...
As long as you have been properly treated for the infection and you have no sign of recurrence after you have finished the antibiotics, you may be a candidate for another BBL. I would wait several months after for the tissues to get softer. This will likely make your BBL more successful. Please...
I would recommend like 3 to 6 months. This allows the areas of liposuction to soften and become more receptive to secondary treatment.
