There is no limitation on how long can wait between lasers, however usually between 2-4 weeks is typical. I recommend following up with your Doctor about the intended timeline and after care. PDT therapy and lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) can improve any redness and inflammation. I also recommend skin care with vitamin c, b5 hydrator, silicone based scar gels with growth factors and enzymatic washes with papaya enzyme. Sun protection is essential. The various companies have done extensive testing to get FDA approval for their equipment. I personally follow their advise on treatment levels and timing. Few if any practitioners do their own studies. We use their recommendations and they work. That is the bottom line. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD
