1 month after my tummy tuck and I'm 1 month pregnant! Too soon? (Photos)

Congratulations on your pregnancy. You have a great abdominoplasty result.  By the time you start 'showing' and your belly starts getting bigger, the deeper stitches should have healed.  Of course, the pregnancy will result in stretching of your skin and abdominal wall that can lead to additional loose skin and possibly widened rectus muscle. Hi Jessica1789,Congratulations on your pregnancy and what appears to be a great abdominoplasty result.  Although not ideal, getting pregnant this soon after a tummy tuck is not dangerous.  Of course, it will result in stretching of your skin and abdominal wall that will lead to additional loose skin and diastasis (spreading of your rectus muscles).  I hope that helps.Best,Dr. B

do occur and due to the slow nature of expansion, your body will accommodate your changes.  Enjoy the experience and wishing you a smooth journey.  When you're post-partum, you can talk to your surgeon if anything arises that is not to your satisfaction.

By the time your uterus start to enlarge, your fascia closure should have healed.
