Is it normal to have a burning sensation 3 days after juvederm voluma on jaw line? (photo)

Had more juvaderm voluma injected into my jawline I'm 3 days out I have a burning sensation on the left side I have no redness but it also feels sore is this normal? I'm freaking out thinking it might be an infection. Please help.

It does not appear that you have an infection at the injection site.  However, it is not typical to have a burning sensation 3 days after treatment.  I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.

If you're feeling pain, you should follow up with your injector / physician. Or see an experienced cosmetic dermatologist to get a formal evaluation, resolve the issue, and develop a new treatment plan to address your acne scars. Best of luck, Dr. Emer
